Pawn Sacrifice

I didn’t know that they are still making movies about chess, but there you have it. So it is all about chess, diplomacy in cold war and the early life of the prodigy Bobby Fisher culminating in what is know as “the game of the century”. Although I was not astounded by the acting of the lead actor, it is still not a bad movie. A little hint about the title, chess is characterized as the ultimate game of strategic sacrifices.

Pawn Sacrifice (2014) on IMDb.
